Benefits of Direct Neurofeedback

Effortless Sessions
Direct Neurofeedback therapy is a FDA-registered, non-invasive technology that takes 30 minutes or less.

What is Direct Neurofeedback?

Direct Neurofeedback therapy, sometimes referred to as Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS), is a non-invasive, FDA-registered technology that measures electrical activity of the brain and sends back to the brain a microcurrent. That brief, imperceptible current resets the client’s autonomic nervous system and allows the brain to reorganize itself for optimal functioning. Direct neurofeedback benefits include feeling more calm, a greater clarity, and an overall feeling of balance and resilience. Ocala Neuro's direct neurofeedback for ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other disorders takes information from sensors on the scalp and relays that to our software. Based on each person’s brainwave patterns a tiny, imperceptible stimulation is sent back to the brain from the computer. As brainwaves change so does the current going back to the brain. Each direct neurofeedback therapy session is specific for every client.

OTHER SERVICES WE OFFER

Direct Neurofeedback

Direct Neurofeedback sends a tiny, imperceptible signal to the brain that causes a slight fluctuation in brainwaves. This fluctuation allows the brain to reorganize and get out of rigid, stuck patterns. It is like re-booting a frozen computer.

EMDR Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is an evidence–based novel psychotherapy that fosters rapid recovery by reprogramming how the brain stores traumatic memories and imagery.

Traditional Talk Therapy

Our approach to talk therapy is solution focused, strengths based and mindfulness inspired. We are client-centered and enjoy helping you learn to reconnect with yourself and experience more joy in your day to day life.
